When we were planning our first device our goal and main mindset was to create a simulator that is as close to a type specific device as much it can be. It creates a bridge between FNPT II and FTD level, the difference is only the matter of the official Airbus data package. From the first moment we prioritised training purposes which led to the possibilities of airline ready trainings, even before APS was on the horizon. Our own ATO, Simnest Pilot Academy provides us the opportunity to test the simulator in a live training environment and based on our test pilot’s and the instructors’ feedback we can evolve, improve the simulator which becomes better and better. At Simnest Aviation we provide real airliner environment for a price of a generic simulator.
Simnest's FNPT II-MCC APS Generic Large Jet simulator is a well-equipped device including every hardware and software for your needs to provide a professional training. We believe training in this device helps your cadets to feel the athmosphere of a real cockpit. With this simulator you can get one step closer to a type specific training device and it's helping us to provide reliable business solutions driven by customer satisfaction.
The controlled and well documented management of schelduled and non-scheduled changed and upgrades in line with Operations Manual is a key factor that guarantees the certified operation of the training device and excepted high up-time. Considering the high level of certain risks related to the process, SIMNEST implemented a sandboxed maintenance partition to eliminate this inherent danger. It provides a user-friendly and easy to use maintenance and upgrade environment where you can make changes and validate them without support from the manufacturer. Changes on the maintenance environment won't have any effect on the training environment until the planned deployment.
A wide range of failures can be simulated from 13 main groups, including engine, flight control, navigation, hydraulic and electrical failures. They truly degrade the affected component with all the side effects and combining failures is also possible. Normal and direct flight laws are fully represented, which allow the simulation of flight law degradation. The simulated failures are listed on the last page.
We offer high standard services including phone assistance, online ticketing system, proactive error prevention and 24 months’ warranty. Transportation, installation, insurance & testing on customer premises alongside maintenance technicians’ and instructors’ training are also integral parts of our service portfolio. We can assist in the simulator certification process as well.
Our Electronic Qualification Test Guide (eQTG) is an extensively developed software, created and continuously improved by our engineers and developers. It is fully electronic, based on the ARINC-436 standard and can be exported to PDF instantly. The validation data comes from engineering data, flight data and real first-hand flying experience of 8 active airline captains. This eQTG complies with the EASA CS-FSTD (A) requirements.
We have first-hand experience of establishing and running an ATO or an FSTD operator organization. Apart from the technical support, we also provide legal and business support to owners. These support types ensure flexibility because they are tailored to each of our customers.
For every simulator we provide an SMCU (Simnest Multifunctional Control Unit), a fully equipped IT rack. It comes with an intuitive touch screen so you have everything under control with just one touch. The instructors can easily use it for the daily operations without any technician on site, but it brings so much more: eJourneyLog, multiple startup mode, maintenance options and even a sandbox for testing required upgrades.
We offer our retrofit service for those customers who decided to upgrade their non-certified simulator into a certified FNPT II MCC flight training device. The actual device and the available documentation are thoroughly examined during the preliminary assessment. With the goal of successful certification in focus, a recommendation is created based on the assessment before we can start the actual upgrade process. Once the device is ready, we provide assistance during the authorization process and support services to ensure smooth operation.
